11-04: US Fish and Wildlife Service Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge Reservoir Removal Plan
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Conservation Districts of Montana oppose the removal of any reservoirs on the US Fish and Wildlife Service Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Montana Association of Conservation Districts write and execute an MOU with the appropriate regional and/or state USFWS office to establish a framework for Conservation Districts to work with local USFWS offices in Montana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the MACD pursue and support state legislation and Congressional action urging the USFWS to manage the CMR in a manner that identifies and addresses local needs, follows the enabling legislation that established the refuge, and dovetails with the local CD’s conservation work.
