Public Comment Period Open for Proposed Conservation District Grant Rules
The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) has announced a public comment period for proposed administrative rules related to Conservation District grants. The rulemaking, authorized in HB 2, is intended to clarify the process for administering conservation grants.
The notice of proposed rulemaking has been published in the Montana Administrative Register and is available online through both the Montana Administrative Register and DNRC.

Comments will be accepted through July 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
