Explore Water Conservation Across the Columbia River Basin
The Montana Watershed Coordination Council (MWCC) has opened registration for the 2026 Columbia River Basin Watershed Tour, taking place September 14–18, 2026.
Hosted in partnership with the Flathead Lake Biological Station and the Montana Pesticide Stewardship Partnership Program, this year’s tour will showcase watershed restoration, water quality, and monitoring projects across the Montana portion of the Columbia River Basin. Participants will visit project sites from Butte to Flathead Lake, connect with conservation professionals from across the region, and learn about responsible practices that help protect and improve Montana’s water resources.
In addition to the field tour, attendees can participate in networking events throughout the week and cap off the experience with the Cornhole for Clean Water Tournament in Missoula on Saturday, September 19.
