MACD Board Elections: Open Board Seats for Fall 2026

The Montana Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) is seeking dedicated Conservation District Supervisors to help lead the future of conservation across Montana. Several MACD Board positions will be up for election this fall, providing an opportunity to represent your area and help guide statewide conservation initiatives.

MACD’s Board has played a key role in advancing conservation district priorities, including securing the permanent Conservation District Trust, which provides stable, long-term funding for Montana’s Conservation Districts. As we continue building on this momentum, we encourage interested supervisors to consider serving.

Open Board Seats

Board seats are open in Areas 1, 4, 5, and 6, with additional seats where current board members are seeking re-election.

Who Can Run?

Any voting Conservation District Supervisor from a district in good standing with MACD is eligible to run for an open seat within their area.

Learn More Before You Decide

MACD will host two virtual information sessions for supervisors interested in learning more about serving on the Board.

Information Session Dates
