Bridger Plant Materials Center Welcomes New Manager
Charles Eckman will join Bridger PMC as its incoming Manager on June 18. He comes to us from the San Francisco Area, where he Managed the San Francisco Bay/Delta Hydraulic Model Visitor center, and prior to that was Assistant Manager at the J.W. Toumey USFS Nursery in Michigan with additional experience in research, land management and horticultural services in Montana. We are very excited to welcome him to Bridger, and a short bio and picture appear below.

My name is Charles Eckman. I am the incoming Manager of Bridger PMC. I was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. I studied horticulture at Montana State and the University of Minnesota. I have worked in plant conservation/reforestation in Montana, Idaho and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Working with State and Federal agencies, specializing in seed collection, processing and plant production. In my free time I enjoy biking, skiing and gardening. I am looking forward to getting back to Montana!
