Reminder: Comprehensive Water Review – Stakeholder Working Group Applications are Due Friday!
The 2023/24 SWG will convene sub-working groups on three priority issues identified by the 2022 SWG:
- Final decrees and the role of the Judiciary;
- Exempt wells; and
- Water measurement.
Each member of the Stakeholder Working Group will be assigned to a sub-working group matching their interests/experience for deep collaboration and hopefully development of recommended changes to rules, policy, or statute.
Application Process
June 30: Application deadline. Application available here.
July 1-15: WRD staff and the SWG facilitator will screen and sort applications into water use sectors and make selections. Selection criteria are described in the application form. If necessary, WRD may conduct interviews.
July 21: WRD will announce the 2023 SWG membership.
