WHEREAS, biologic means are an important tool for the suppression of noxious weeds; and

WHEREAS, houndstongue (Cynoglossum officinale) is a noxious weed that spreads into very remote riparian areas;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Conservation Districts in Montana request that the state and federal agencies work to facilitate obtaining a biologic control for suppression of houndstongue in the state of Montana.
