The Northern Great Plains Joint Venture is launching a quarterly webinar series for the region’s private lands conservation field staff. All webinar topics come directly from you, our audience, via event activities and surveys! Please send your ideas for future webinars to Krista Erdman at kerdman@ducks.org or Tayler Scherr at tscherr@ducks.org. Our target audience is Northern Great Plains private lands conservation staff, but our webinars are free and open to all.
Dr. Krista Ehlert, South Dakota State University Assistant Professor and State Extension Range Specialist, will join us to talk about the fundamentals of grazing in the Northern Great Plains. Come learn about the principles of range management, whole system planning, and the impacts of grazing on plant growth and development.
