Join local experts at the Land Stewardship Series at Flathead Valley Community College to learn techniques for managing your land.
Thursdays, 6 -8pm, April 3 – May 8
Living in the Forest: Insects, Disease and Wildfire: This session will cover basic forestry information about forest health, tree thinning to increase resiliency to wildfire, and common insect/disease issues in our area. We’ll also talk about transitions to forest cover which includes planting, scarification, and tree thinning to adjust sunlight and moisture needs.
