Greater Yellowstone Climate Assessment – Virtual Public Presentation
Dear colleagues, partners, and friends,
Please join the Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Montana State University, the University of Wyoming, and the U.S. Geological Survey for a virtual public presentation on the Greater Yellowstone Climate Assessment on Thursday December 9th at 4pm MST.
The authors of the Greater Yellowstone Climate Assessment will discuss their major findings of the assessment, which was published in June 2021. The presentation will include a look at past, present, and future precipitation, temperature, streamflow, and snowpack changes across the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Authors will also share perspectives from over 40 diverse stakeholder interviews that were conducted across the ecosystem as part of the assessment. You’ll have an opportunity to directly engage with the authors through a question-and-answer session.
Speakers include Steven Hostetler of the U.S. Geological Survey, Cathy Whitlock of Montana State University, Bryan Shuman of University of Wyoming, and Charles Wolf Drimal and Ryan Cruz of the Greater Yellowstone Coalition.
This virtual public event is free and open to all. It will be hosted using the Zoom online platform. To register, please visit: https://greateryellowstone.org/events/2021/gycawebinar
