CD Outreach Work Group (CDOWG)
For those of you who may be interested in CDOWG working through the process of tracking the special days of recognition (weeks/months too) through the year, and how we may be able to help provide social media and/or other materials to CDs to alleviate the burden of everyone having to recreate the wheel, there will be a subgroup of the CDOWG meeting at our normal CDOWG meeting time in May, the 24th at 10 am.
The goal of this subgroup is to start coming up with a list of as many of the events/dates as we can, find the links to their resources if they’re already prepared, and get them on the MACD calendar for CDs to use. We can also talk about a project that Radley had discussed before—a “what kinds of education projects do all the CDs do?” sort of thing. I did find my old binder that the EO put together years ago, and have scanned it, so I have the beginnings of that project. You should all have received the link to it. It’s not a comprehensive look at what kinds of things CDs do, but is a start. I’ll be happy to help lead that discussion for now, unless someone else would like to step up!
