Employee Organization Meeting Minutes

The approved minutes from last fall’s EO meeting out to the group, along with the draft minutes from the meeting last week are below. The EO had 23 members either in the room or attending via zoom last week and the main point of discussion was nonprofit status. The group voted to move forward with seeking nonprofit status for the organization after a presentation from Sarah Tunge, the NCDEA (national conservation district employee association) Vice President. Sarah is also with the North Dakota Employee Association.

Moving forward, the EO board and executive committee will be working on draft bylaws and filing the appropriate paperwork. Bylaws draft will be voted on at our November meeting in Billings.

Area 4 is working hard on planning the EO event for Convention along with general convention planning with MACD. Statewide Employee Training plans are also coming along nicely. See the minutes for details on both.
