MACD Annual Convention

MACD’s 2025 Convention will begin on Tuesday, November 18 with partner and board meetings, followed by two days full of exciting events, breakout sessions, and opportunities to connect with leaders in conservation from across the state!

Please note: prices will increase to reflect late registration fees on November 11, 2025!

Full Registration: $345

• Includes registration for all 3 days and all evening events: welcome reception on Tuesday November 18, and the MACD Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 19.
• Does not include lodging or travel expenses
• Registration is required for all attendees, including members of the MACD board

One-day Registration (November 19 or 20): $150

• Includes all daytime programming, breakfast, and lunch
• Does not include tickets to MACD Banquet

Additional Ticket to MACD Banquet: $65

Supervisor Travel Scholarship

The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is offering a limited number travel sponsorships for conservation district supervisors to attend the 2024 Convention!

Conservation districts must demonstrate a financial need to be eligible for a scholarship. DNRC will pay for one supervisor per district unless the board includes an MACD director, in which case, DNRC will pay lodging for two supervisors, but mileage for one vehicle per district.

Over the three days of the convention Sponsors will have numerous opportunities to speak directly with over 200 attendees. In addition to hearing from Montana’s conservation leaders, you also have the opportunity to attend educational breakout sessions, speakers, and banquet events. We have several sponsorship categories that may be of interest to you.

The Montana Association of Conservation Districts invites conservation district staff, supervisors, partners, and other stakeholders to help shape the 2025 Convention!

We’re planning three informative days featuring:

• Breakout sessions and workshops
• Training opportunities
• Networking with conservation leaders and district peers statewide

What we’d love to hear from you:
Submit your ideas and proposals for session topics, guest speakers, panel discussions, or interactive training relevant to conservation districts in Montana. Whether it’s practical skill-building, policy or legislative insights, emerging conservation technologies, community outreach and education, or district governance – your topic could fill a breakout room!
