EPA Seeks Nominations for the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a call for nominations to join the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee (FRRCC).

Established in 2008, the FRRCC offers independent policy advice on environmental issues impacting agriculture and rural communities.

The EPA is seeking diverse members from various sectors, including farmers, ranchers, industry groups, academia, government, and NGOs. Nominations, including résumés and statements of interest, are due by September 5, 2024. Members serve voluntarily and may receive travel allowances. The EPA emphasizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in its selection process.

How to Apply

To be considered for an appointment to the FRRCC, nominations should be submitted to FRRCC@epa.gov by September 5, 2024, with the subject line “FRRCC Membership 2024.” Nominations should include a résumé or curriculum vitae and a statement of interest. Letters of support and recommendation will be accepted but are not mandatory.
