Yellowstone Conservation District Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

The Yellowstone Conservation District is providing free trees to Yellowstone County residents in celebration of Arbor Day. Over 300 bagged trees will be given away as well as free planting guides for the trees.
The trees that will be given away this year are:
1. Ash, Green – 2-3’ bareroot
2. American Plum – 3’+ – bareroot
3. Amur Maple – 3’+ bareroot
4. Cottonwood Siouxland – 3-5’ bareroot
5. Lilac, Villosa – 3’ bareroot
6. Linden, American – 3-5’ bareroot
7. Ponderosa pine – 10 cubic inch containers
8. Red Osier Dogwood – 2-3’ bareroot
9. Quaking Aspen – 10 & 27 cubic inch containers
Trees will not be given out before 10:00am. Tree quantities are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.
