The proposal notice regarding changes to the Montana Pesticides Act (MAR Notice No. 4-24-284) can be viewed on the Secretary of State’s website rules.mt.gov. A public hearing will be held at 9 am, Aug. 30, in Room 225 of the Scott Hart Building (302 N. Roberts, Helena) to receive comments on the Montana Department of Agriculture’s proposal to amend, adopt, and repeal administrative rules pertaining to the Montana Pesticides Act published on pages 1903-1938 in Issue No. 15 of the 2024 Montana Administrative Register. Concerned persons may submit their data, views, or arguments either orally or in writing at the hearing or send them to the department by 5:00 pm, Oct. 7.
