The Missoula Conservation District will host a short, public workshop on the many benefits of landscaping with native plants, whether starting from scratch or converting part of an existing lawn or flower bed. These benefits include reduced pesticide and fertilizer use, pollinator habitat creation, reduced watering needs, eliminating the need for mowing, and improving soil health while still creating an aesthetically pleasing environment.
