Madi Larson joined the Montana Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) in 2023 as Engagement Coordinator and stepped into the role of Associate Director in July 2025. She is the primary coordinator for MACD events, including the Annual Convention, spring board meeting, area meetings, and the Montana Soil Health Symposium. Madi also leads fundraising initiatives and manages MACD’s Education Work Group and scholarship program. As Associate Director, she provides support to the Executive Director for strategic planning, program development and management, team leadership, and operations.
Madi holds a degree in mortuary science and previously worked as a funeral director with a focus on expanding access to ecological deathcare practices. She lives in Cardwell with her husband, daughter, dogs, cat, and ducks.
