Feral Swine Table-Top Exercise (Save the Date)

June 30, 2022

Feral swine are an invasive species that can damage resources, destroy crops, and spread disease. The threat of feral swine in Montana will mostly likely come from animals that migrate from Canada or humans that transport animals into our state.

The Montana Invasive Species Council (MISC) and MT Department of Livestock are co-hosting a meeting for key members of county, state, federal, and tribal agencies to discuss and plan for feral swine detections in Montana.

  1. Please save the date for a meeting on June 30 in Helena.  Watch for a formal invitation coming soon.
  2. In-person participation is preferred but a virtual option will be available.
