DID NOT PASS AREA MEETING
WHEREAS, Resolutions, when passed by the majority, reflect the will of the organization, giving directives to the governing board;
WHEREAS, topics of concern, interest, or importance arise that require immediate discussion for such a directive are often of a nature as to compel urgency of timing;
WHEREAS, many Montana organizations have resolutions from the floor at annual meetings to democratically address directive concerns;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that MACD adopt rules to allow for resolutions from the floor at annual conventions if the need arises.
