DESCRIPTION:RVCD Stream Team training\nJune 14 \, 2024 \n10:00am-03:00pm \n402 S Main Street \nSheridan\, MT \nAre you fond of being outdoors and contributing positively to your community? Would you enjoy the opportunity to learn about water resources and the tools used to monitor them in the Ruby Valley? As the weather begins to warm up and snowpack melts from higher elevations\, the RVCD is kicking off our volunteer Stream Monitoring Team for the season! We have a handful of monitoring sites open this year\, and we would appreciate your help. \nOur training day will occur on Friday\, June 14 at 10 AM. We will meet at the Ruby Valley Conservation District office in Sheridan\, located at 402 S Main Street. All volunteers should bring waders or muck boots\, snacks and water\, rain gear\,  sunscreen\, and whatever else they want for a day spent in the field. \nContact Aleda Miller at bswc@rubyvalleycd.macdnet.org to sign up or to ask any questions you may have.
