DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor those of you who may be interested in CDOWG working through the process of tracking the special days of recognition (weeks/months too) through the year\, and how we may be able to help provide social media and/or other materials to CDs to alleviate the burden of everyone having to recreate the wheel\,  there will be a subgroup of the CDOWG meeting at our normal CDOWG meeting time in May\, the 24th at 10 am. \nThe goal of this subgroup is to start coming up with a list of as many of the events/dates as we can\, find the links to their resources if they’re already prepared\, and get them on the MACD calendar for CDs to use.  We can also talk about a project that Radley had discussed before—a “what kinds of education projects do all the CDs do?” sort of thing. USDA is now accepting project applications for fiscal year 2022. \n“America’s farmers\, ranchers\, and forest owners are leading the way in implementing climate-smart solutions across their operations\,” said Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) State Conservationist Tom Watson in Montana. “Through Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities\, USDA will provide targeted funding to meet national and global demand and expand market opportunities for climate-smart commodities to increase the competitive advantage of American producers.
