SUMMARY:Public invited to provide input on new Judith Landing State Park
DESCRIPTION:Public invited to open house meetings on new Judith Landing State Park \nNOTE: This meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.  \nApril 22  \n05:00PM-07:00PM  \nPublic Library \n60 Johannes Ave \nBig Sandy\, MT 59520 \nIn February of 2025\, Montana Fish\, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) acquired 109 acres at the confluence of the Judith and Missouri Rivers in north-central Montana and plans to manage the property as Judith Landing State Park. As part of the initial planning process for the new park\, the public is invited to attend one of several open house meetings in April to learn about plans for the park and share their thoughts on how it can best serve visitors\, the region\, and the local community. \nThe meetings will be held in an open house format allowing attendees to drop in at their convenience anytime between 5 – 7 p.m. and visit information stations set up at the meeting venue. There will be no formal presentation\, allowing participants to move through the stations at their own pace and visit directly with FWP staff about the plans for the newly acquired property. \nFor more information\, please contact FWP recreation manager Colegrove at 406-454-5854 or cannon.colegrove@mt.gov.
