This will be held the same day as our Ag dinner which will be starting at 5 pm. \nOur guest\, Elaine Froese\, is coming from Canada to lead us on the topic of Finding Fairness in Farm Transition. She is known as “Canada’s farm whisperer” and known nationwide for her knowledge of farm succession. She has been a voice of reason and guide for over 25 years for a multitude of farm families across the U.S. to make successful transitions to the upcoming generations. Her program: Finding Fairness in Farm Transition takes a dive into finding a “new language to manage expectations and navigate finding fairness in farm transition so that everyone will be successful”. She will also be the keynote speaker for our Ag dinner. We are hoping this will be a helpful tool for our community to use and a guide on how we approach farm succession with the next generation. They are looking for any CD’s who would like to do an educational booth or craft for the kids and parents that stop by to look at the local businesses that have booths that day. CDs can can invite other small businesses in their area that sell things to have a booth\, as well. They are more than welcome to stay for the banquet\, as well.
