Amanda Gillett, Guest Speaker: From Winnett Montana, Amanda is an advocate for soil health and a whole system approach to farming and ranching. She also is an avid no-till gardener, and prefers using heirloom seed so that she can save seed. Her garden is a test plot to show the benefits of no-till through maintaining organic matter, preserving moisture, and building soil by working with the natural system. She holds a BS degree in Agriculture from Oregon State University.
