LAHC Meeting
Our next Legislative Ad Hoc Committee (LAHC) Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 9th at 1pm via zoom.I will send out the meeting materials in the coming days, in the meantime the zoom link for the meeting is included below.
The topics for this meeting will include:
- Water Policy Interim Committee (WPIC) meeting on March 15-16, including the CD Panel on Erosion
- Environmental Quality Council (EQC) meeting on March 22-23, including a discussion about potential funding sources for conservation districts
- Legislative strategy, including opportunities for engagement at upcoming CD events
There are official members of the LAHC appointed by the MACD Board, however, all supervisors and employees are welcome to attend. Additionally, our Core partners often attend and provide critical information/insight as well.
