Wildland Urban Interface Grants

The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Forestry Division announces that the application period for the FY2016 Western Wildland Urban Interface Grant Program is now open. Attached are the request for proposals, application form, and application instructions. Please review all application materials carefully. These will also be posted on the DNRC Forestry Division webpage.

Eligible applicants include but are not limited to non-profit organizations, conservation districts, county and municipal governments, and fire departments. Individual private landowners may not apply but may contact their DNRC service forester for the names of grant program sponsors in their areas to find out about cost-share opportunities for fuels reduction and stewardship on private forest land.

Applications must be submitted electronically to nfpgrants@mt.gov by 5pm on Monday, August 10, 2015.
