Great news for Conservation Districts!! As of Friday, February 20th, the Montana Senate Local Government Committee has tabled Senate Bill 340 and Senate Bill 341. SB 340 would have added requirements on the Districts for additional public information.

We are another week closer to transmittal date. Political posturing, coupled with suspicion, bills flying all around trying to meet the deadline, and missed communications, all add up to controlled or uncontrolled chaos, depending on your perspective.
