Sun River Watershed Group seeks Coordinator

The Sun River Watershed Group (SRWG) is seeking an independent contractor to coordinate watershed projects within the Sun River watershed in north-central Montana. This will require an energetic, friendly, creative individual with proven project management and coordination skills and a strong commitment to watershed health and restoration.

General Description of Services:  The Watershed Coordinator will be responsible for coordination, implementation, and general administration of SRWG projects as a contractor to the SRWG. Contracted services will include project grant application and administration, and project management to meet the mission and goals of the SRWG. The Watershed Coordinator will work directly with the SRWG Board of Directors and project partners to promote, assist and provide guidance for project implementation and reporting project results. This is a contracted position, with services anticipated to require approximately 40 hours/week.  The contract is dependent on funding.  

Contract terms: This agreement is to encompass work completed from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017. This contract will undergo a task, funding and progress review on a 6 month basis.

Work location:  The contractor will provide services in the entire Sun River watershed and will attend SRWG and partner meetings in the watershed. Preference will be given to a contractor living in or near the project area.
