Seeking Program Manager/Office Manager

This Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Montana, Inc. (SWCDMI) position is part of a statewide effort to serve the interests of Montana’s 58 Conservation Districts. Working in conjunction with our sister organization, the Montana Association of Conservation Districts, SWCDMI is a nonprofit, growing organization with programs to promote local, commonsense conservation. We are looking for someone to join our team to help our staff with balancing current activities and building for the future. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, process oriented, motivated, and a critical thinker. This position is responsible for staffing a variety of programs including, but not limited to, Irrigation Water Management, Mini-Grants, Legal Contracts, and future programs focused on water, soil, or a combination of natural resource objectives. In addition to serving Conservation Districts directly, this position is in charge of office operations including billing, invoicing, and day-to-day office management. This is a part-time position and the incumbent is an employee of SWCDMI for 30 hours per week. Possibility for full-time employment may be negotiated depending upon pay and experience. The incumbent would be encouraged to seek additional programs and funding.
