Conservation is a community
November 30, 2014
Thanks to all those who made this year’s convention a success!
The MACD Executive Committee and staff would like to thank all of you who attended the convention at Fairmont Hot Springs.
As always, we feel that providing the opportunity to network with other conservation district supervisors, agency representatives, and other conservation minded-folk is one of the most important things that we do here at MACD.
Aside from the resolutions we discussed and the information gathered from speakers & breakout sessions, we hope that you went home with a little bug in your ear about what everyone else is doing, or a new acquaintance that might be able to help with a project.
And for those of you that couldn’t attend, we hope that you’ll reach out to us and ask what you missed, or call up someone from your neighboring conservation district to see what they’re working on.
The networking and collaboration doesn’t have to stop now that we’re out of the hot tub, so to speak. Call us, email us, or drop by the office to tell us how you’re doing or what you need help with.
Conservation is a community effort, and we’re proud to be part of your community.
